Can i be sued for malpractice even if its a patients fault?

so this is what happened, so patient came to get physical therapy, since it was busy and theres no available bed, i told patient to sit down first and i'll be calling her if its already available. so what she did she went to this inversion machine on the gym and tried it but what happened she fell down. so when i heard another patient screamed i immediately checked what happened and i saw her kneeling on the floor with abrasions on the forearm, i asked her what happened and asked her if i need to call 911 and she refused, i did not allow her to leave because i want to make sure if there will be any neurological signs and symptoms that will determine if she had trauma, and ask her if she's alright and she said she's fine.then after 30 mins i sent the patient home and accompanied her to her apt since she was wobbling... so can somebody answer my question..thanks!
