I'm 8 weeks pregnant during sex i started bleeding is this a miscarriage?

I started Bleeding in my pregnancy and later had a mc. When I visited my gp they asked if we had sex recently as he said this sometimes can cause bleeding due to an irritated cervix, and this is a common cause of bleeding in pregnancy. We hadn't had sex so I was experiencing mc. Brown blood is often seen as old blood, so could be nothing to worry about. I understand how worried u will be and how doctors are very sympathetic, but at least you have a scan booked in. Try not to worry and think bleeding in early pregnancy is common and some people go to have full term heathly babies, and also try to remember if you do have a mc its probably through no fault of your own and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
