How do I go about applying for a flight attendant position?

I am 19 years of age (20 in August), female, and would really love to work as a flight attendant. I have completed one year of university, but am taking a break from it as I am not sure what career path I want to follow. I live in Australia but am a New Zealand citizen. What does it take to get a job as a flight attendant in Australia and how should I apply? Are there any specific qualifications that would help me with a higher chance. I do not know any second languages fluently, but am fairly good at speaking and understanding spanish. Thanks for any information you can give me! :)
