Herpes or vaginal abrasions? help please!?

Yesterday my vagina was itching and i looked at it and discovered some little cuts on my inner labia. i am confused with what they might be. i showed my mom and she told me that they were just some abrasions.but then i researched a bit and learned that herpes lessions can look like abrasions sometimes. ive never had a cold sore in my life, and neither has my boyfriend. ive only had sex with one guy, my boyfriend. and he's been tested and says hes clean. i'm confused, it doesn't hurt when i pee, and it barely hurts at all, just a bit of a irritation, nothing serious. could this be herpes? or most likely just abrasions??
