Flight Simulator X or X-Plane 9?

Ok, so I've been doing a lot of research lately about Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-plane 9. I got the free trial of both of them and have tested them both out. I really don't know though because since you only get a free trial, you really can't explore all of the features. Anyway, which one is better for people who don't know much about planes, want more of the feeling of realism in flights (pilot telling flight attendant to prepare for takeoff, etc...) Also which one is easier to learn and figure out, and which program has more free down-loadable content (scenery, aircraft, etc...) Even if you don't know the answers to all of these questions, please answer as much as you can! Thanks
