Got struck by a car door riding my bike, what if the guy has no insurance?

Riding my bike and a drunk guy flings his door open sending me flying in the air, onto the pavement off my bike. Man was drunk and walked away from the scene of the accident. Got taken away in an ambulance, have many abrasions and bruises, in a lot of pain. What happens if he has no insurance?
